Vincent Thomas "Vince" Lombardi was an American football player, coach and executive in the NFL. He is best known for his role as coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960's, in which he led the team to three consecutive NFL championships.

-Oldest of five children -Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 11th 1913 -Raised in strict Catholic household -At 15, he attended the cathedral college of immaculate conception to study for priesthood -Deciding to change his career path, Lombardi transferred to St. Francis Preparatory, where he played fullback for the football team -After graduating he attended Fordham college and became well known on the football team -Graduated Magna cum laude in 1937 -Studied law at night while working for a finance company during the day -Once again deciding on a career change, Lombardi took a coaching job at St. Cecilia High School in Englewood, New Jersey. -Married Mary Planitz in 1940 and hate two children (Vince Jr. and Susan)
